Hem till Gården is an old working farmstead that the modern town simply grew around – falu-red timber buildings, gravel paths and an orchard, a few minutes from the centre of Västerås. You hold your conference in beautiful, listed buildings, with the countryside on all sides.
It is a setting that opens people up, makes conversation easier and gives everyone somewhere to breathe between sessions. We handle the whole day, start to finish – you concentrate on the meeting.

Our boutique hotel has 9 individually furnished apartment suites in listed buildings between 100 and 300 years old. 30 beds in total – each suite with its own shower, toilet and kitchen.
A breakfast basket, free WiFi and ample parking with EV charging are all included. It is a genuinely quiet place to wind down between intensive days.

How many people do your conference rooms hold?
We have three rooms: Stora Stallet for up to 80 people, plus Lilla Stallet and Ryttmästarn for smaller groups. In total we host conferences from 10 up to 80 delegates.
Do you have a conference venue in central Västerås?
Hem till Gården sits about 3 km north of central Västerås, with city buses 2, 6 and 21 running from the centre. So you get a conference venue close to town, but in a rural farmstead setting.
What is included in your conference package?
The packages include the room with its equipment, morning and afternoon refreshments, and lunch from our own kitchen. Full day, half day and conference with an overnight stay are quoted separately depending on group size.
Can we stay on the farm bed-and-breakfast style?
Yes – our boutique hotel has 9 apartment suites with 30 beds in total, each with its own kitchen, shower and toilet, plus a breakfast basket. Open to conference groups and individual guests alike.

At Slånbärsgatan 9, 722 23 Västerås, Sweden – about 3 km north of central Västerås, with city buses 2, 6 and 21 from the centre and the Rocklunda outdoor recreation area 300 metres away.
How far is it from Stockholm and Arlanda?
Around 55 minutes by car or train from both Stockholm and Arlanda Airport, which makes the farm easy to reach for delegates travelling in.
Is there parking and EV charging?
Yes – there is plenty of free parking on the farm, and EV charging is available to guests and conference delegates.
Can we stay overnight alongside the conference?
Yes. Our boutique hotel on the farm has 30 beds across rooms and apartment suites, so the group can stay on after dinner.
What does a conference day include?
WiFi in every room, projector and screen, whiteboard and flip chart, notepads and pens for all delegates, and coffee, tea, fruit and sweets throughout the day.
Do you provide the food, and can you handle special diets?
Yes – the food is cooked in our own kitchen and we adapt the menu to allergies and special diets. Just note the requirements in your enquiry and we will sort it out.
Which activities can we add?
We arrange group activities on the farm, such as pizza making in the Neapolitan oven, tastings and quizzes. We are also happy to suggest outdoor and sporting activities, with the Rocklunda recreation area right next door.
What does a conference cost?
The price depends on the number of delegates, the room, the food and any overnight stay. Send an enquiry and we will come back with a quote – usually the same or the next working day.
How do I book – and how do I cancel?
